Some truly exciting features added to StallionCompare.com with this feature release – including pedigree saturation percentages listed on individual stallion pages, show results (which was a task in and of itself), and a number of bug fixes.

1.0    Pedigree Saturation

A little while ago we released an article on how to factor your horse's pedigree saturation. Well, with that knowledge in-hand, we decided to put together this feature as a permanent fixture on each stallion page. Now, if a stallion has no repeating ancestors in the first 4 generations of the pedigree, we won't show anything. But if the horse does have multiple ancestors in the first 4 generations, you will now see that information below the pedigree.

2.0    Show Results

In order to provide details on stallion pages for offspring who are showing well at regional shows, we have begun to store show results. This entirely new section of the site will house points earned, show information, judges, placings, and much more. This information comes with one caveat, we don't know who sired each horse. So as a form of measurement, we are manually researching and ensuring the top 50 horses from each show have sire details so that they show on the sire page. However, anyone can submit the horse information and photo in order to have their horse(s) added to sire pages.

3.0    Search by Breed Registry

Instead of searching by breed, we now have the ability to search by breed registry that the stallion is registered. So, if you have a stallion that is double registered, they can now be found under (for example) both AQHA & APHA search filters.

During her college years she took a brief (and eye opening) hiatus from Quarter Horses to work in the Thoroughbred industry – returning to the AQHA circuit as a young adult. Natashya was also able to reconnect with the quarter horse industry through design. She worked with former owners of Pleasurehorse.com and Show Horse Today on their design needs prior to Robyn Duplisea purchasing the business. Natashya also worked at Horse Canada (HPG) as the Creative Director for many monthly, quarterly, and annual equine magazines. Her passion (read: obsession) for breeding, genetics, and equine pedigrees ran ever-increasingly deep, which lead her to create StallionCompare.com.

Beyond her equine pursuits, Natashya is the Creative Director & Co-Founder of a leading design agency known for its boutique, customer-focused approach. With her expertise, she blends creativity and technology to make a lasting impact in both horse breeding and design.
