Unlike the sire results, where the leading figures were shaped by both a highest-selling horse and multiple representatives across the sale, the damsire results showed a strong concentration of influence at the top. Wimpys Little Step not only recorded the highest total sales among damsires but was also represented by the greatest number of horses within the sale, reflecting its continued presence across the maternal side of the pedigrees featured.
Together with the sire and dam connections, these maternal grandsire lines provide another layer of context into the generations of breeding influence behind the horses sold during the 2026 League of Legends Invitational Horse Sale.
The Next Chapter of the League
Like every horse sale, the 2026 League of Legends Invitational Horse Sale marked the beginning of new chapters for the horses, their new owners, and the connections formed throughout the event. With 26 of the 33 horses finding new homes for a total of $159,150 in sales, the sale reflected the continued story of the horses presented in East Helena.
The name “League of Legends” embodies the qualities celebrated throughout the event — Limitless, Elevated, Genuine, Extraordinary, Noteworthy, Distinctive, and Success. Beyond the final results, these words represent the lasting impressions created through the horses, their achievements, and the legacy carried forward with each new chapter.
As these horses begin their next journeys, the 2026 League of Legends Invitational Horse Sale remains a celebration of the stories, accomplishments, and connections that continue to define the performance horse community.
StallionCompare will continue sharing the stories and moments that showcase the horses, people, and traditions that make the equine world extraordinary.
