The March Mixed Sale hosted by Solo Select Horses LLC on March 15, 2026, brought together a thoughtfully selected group of horses, each representing the heart of the performance horse world – pedigree, potential, and the people behind them.
From seasoned broodmares to young prospects and future foals, the sale offered more than just a catalog. It reflected the ongoing connection between breeders, trainers, and buyers who continue to shape the future of the industry through their passion for great horses.
This was a sale where every horse carried a story. Buyers weren’t just looking at papers – they were looking at bloodlines that have proven themselves over generations, mares that will shape future champions, and young horses just beginning their journey. The diversity of the offering allowed each buyer to find something that fits not just their program, but their vision.
Spotlight Horses: The Ones That Stood Out
At the top of the March Mixed Sale, three standout mares rose above the rest, each drawing strong attention for pedigree, presence, and the promise they carry forward. These headline offerings set the tone for the sale and reflected the kind of quality buyers were willing to pursue.
Leading the sale was Movin Like Royce, a 2020 mare by Rollz Royce out of Clememtine Ichi, by Cat Ichi, whose presence and pedigree drew strong attention, combining proven cow horse bloodlines with recognizable maternal influence – representing the balance of athletic ability and lineage that continues to define the modern performance horse.
Following closely behind, Roseybetuff, a mare by Woody Be Tuff out of Easter Rose Jewel, by Lenas Jewel Bars, sold for $82,000 and stood out for the strength of her pedigree connections and future influence, selling with a 2026 embryo by Rollz Royce that ties together established performance lines and carries the promise of the next generation.
Rounding out the top highlights, Dirrty Secret, a 2021 mare by Metallic Cat out of Streak Of Gin, by A Streak Of Fling, sold for $58,000 and drew strong interest for her well-recognized pedigree connections, blending cutting and performance horse influences that position her with both immediate appeal and long-term potential.
A Range of Opportunities
Throughout the sale, horses and breeding opportunities found new homes across a wide range of prices – from top sellers reaching six figures to embryos and prospects that will develop in the years ahead. The offering included not only individual horses, but also bred mares, mares with foals, and embryo packages, reflecting the full scope of the program-building market.
This range highlights something important: every opportunity has a place, whether in the show pen, the breeding barn, or the beginning of a new program. From established broodmares to young prospects and future foals, each lot marked a step forward in someone’s journey with horses.

Final Results & Sale Overview
The March Mixed Sale by Solo Select Horses LLC saw a diverse group of horses, embryos, and breeding opportunities move into new programs across the industry.
In total, the sale generated $772,250 in gross sales across 38 lots, with prices ranging from a high of $100,000 to $5,250 per lot and $3,500 per embryo unit. Leading the sale was Movin Like Royce at $100,000, followed by Roseybetuff at $82,000 and Dirrty Secret at $58,000, setting the tone for a competitive top end.
Beyond the headline horses, the offering showed depth across all categories. Broodmares and performance prospects anchored the upper and middle price ranges, while young colts and fillies saw steady demand as they begin their careers. Embryos and frozen embryo packages were also well represented, with individual embryos reaching up to $20,500 and multi-embryo offerings trading between $7,000 and $11,500 depending on pedigree and pairing.
More than anything, the sale reflected a continued appreciation for well-bred horses and the programs behind them. From established mares to future foals, each lot marked not just a result, but a continuation – of bloodlines, of training, and of the people committed to raising and developing these horses.
As these horses move forward into new barns, breeding programs, and training operations, the impact of this sale will carry well beyond the day itself – through the next generation they help create and the stories still to come. For those looking ahead, the next event hosted by Solo Select Horses LLC will be the May Mixed Sale, a timed auction set to begin on May 31, 2026 at 8:00 AM CDT, with closing starting at 5:00 PM CDT.
