The 2026 Spring Mixed Sale by ProFit Equine Online brought the market straight to buyers’ screens on April 17th and 18th, turning homes into bidding floors and delivering a full-spectrum offering — from embryos and broodmares to weanlings, yearlings, 2YOs, 3YOs, and show horses. But this wasn’t just about convenience — it was about intent. From the first bids to the final hammer, the sale carried steady momentum, with buyers locking in on well-bred individuals and consignments backed by recognizable programs.
In this coverage, we won’t just highlight the horses that found new homes — we’ll also take a closer look at the pedigrees behind them, breaking down sire performance through progeny earnings, along with the influence of key dams and damsires shaping each offering. Quality showed up across categories, with competition holding steady from start to finish. Rather than being driven by a single segment, the sale reflected broader demand for horses with both immediate potential and long-term value. By the time the final bids closed, the message was clear: buyers came prepared, and they were willing to compete for the right horses.
The Big Five: Setting the Pace
That competitiveness was most evident at the top end of the results, where bidding strength quickly established a clear group of standouts that carried the tone of the sale.
SM Genoveva led the sale at $75,000, a 2020 bay mare consigned by G Reining Horses. Sired by Spooks Gotta Whiz and out of an own daughter of Gunnatrashya, she represents one of the most desirable crosses in today’s performance industry. The combination of proven show influence and elite sire power continues to attract buyers focused on both performance and breeding potential, while her AQHA/APHA registration adds further versatility.
Moving down the list, Alpha Smart N Sassy secured second-highest honors at $50,000, continuing the momentum for proven genetic combinations. Sired by Smart Spook and out of a daughter of Shining Spark, he reflects a cross that consistently draws buyer confidence for its reliability and versatility.
That same demand carried into the younger division with The Royal Affair, a 2023 red roan gelding consigned by Justin Mott, bringing $42,000. By Dirty Fling and out of a mare by Pale Face Dunnit, he stood out as a developing prospect with clear upside, showing how forward-looking pedigrees continue to hold value.
Adding to that depth was Gunna B Smoking (Pending), a 2026 sorrel colt consigned by Lorenzo Lotti, who reached $40,000. Sired by Colonels Smoking Gun and out of a Smart Spook daughter, this cross remains one of the most recognized in the industry, even at early stages of development.
Rounding out the top five, Stoppin Barbie sold for $39,000, a 2021 grullo mare consigned by Jorge Puente. By Late Night Stopper and out of a daughter of Hollywood Dun It, she added both color appeal and maternal strength, reinforcing the diversity within the top tier.
As the top group settled, it became clear the strength of the sale wasn’t limited to a single standout — it carried across multiple price points and profiles.
Every Result, Every Hip
With that depth established at the top, the full catalog continued to reflect steady participation across the board, reinforcing consistency from start to finish. Below is the complete breakdown of the 2026 Spring Mixed Sale by ProFit Equine Online.
