With heavy hearts, we share our condolences to Janna Kimmons and everyone who loved Luxuree, affectionately known as “Cookie.”
Sired by FG Speechless and out of Hillion, Cookie was a beautiful young filly with so much promise ahead of her. Though her time here was far too short, she had already made it clear that she was one of the special ones — the kind of filly who captures hearts quickly and leaves people imagining all the wonderful things still to come.
Janna shared that Cookie was headed for big things, and that if you had a cookie, you were certainly her friend. It is those little details that make a young horse unforgettable: the personality, the sweetness, the joy they bring in ordinary moments, and the dreams they inspire simply by being themselves.
There is a unique heartbreak in losing one so young. With a filly like Cookie, we mourn not only the life she lived, but the future she should have had — the milestones, the show pen moments, and the memories still waiting to be made.
