Our hearts are heavy as we announce the loss of the remarkable mare, Only A Glamourgirl, fondly known as Bella. Bella was a true champion, accumulating numerous European Champion, International, and 40 Grand Champion titles, over 300 AQHA points, among many other accolades. Bred by Tim Delf of Blue Grass, IA, she was owned by Fei Ehmann of Switzerland and was on a long-term lease to David Maisonette.
Bella was more than just a decorated competitor; she was a beloved member of the equestrian community. Her elegance and grace in the show ring were matched by her gentle and affectionate nature outside of it. Bella's contributions to the sport and to those who had the privilege of working with her will be remembered for years to come.
She leaves behind a limited but exceptional foal crop, including her 2024 colt, a stunning son of Lazy Loper. This colt, along with her other offspring, carries forward Bella's extraordinary legacy.
Bella's passing is a profound loss to all who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit and legacy will live on through her foals and the countless lives she touched. Rest in peace, dear Bella.
