With heavy hearts, we share our deepest condolences to Dakota Diamond Sidwell, her family, and everyone who loved Quite Natural (“Faith”).
Bred and raised by Dakota’s parents nearly two decades ago, Faith was one of those great mares who leaves a lasting imprint — tough, honest, and deeply loved. After a long battle with cellulitis, her family made the compassionate choice to let her go on a good day, surrounded by care and gratitude for the life she gave.
Faith was proud and proven, with a successful show career alongside Dakota and her sister-in-law, Katey Griffith, and she leaves behind a promising gelding sired by their stallion, Post Mallone — a meaningful part of her legacy carried forward.
One of the last daughters of Natural Iron, Faith will be remembered not only for her strength, but for the steady, loyal presence she was in the barn and in her people’s lives.
Rest easy, sweet Faith. You were deeply loved — and you will be deeply missed.
