• Born on the famous 6666 Ranch, he carried the blood of horses as important to cowboy legend as the cowboys themselves
• A local legend himself in the cow cutting circle, he qualified for the AQHA World Show in Open Cutting, earned an NCHA COA and was an NCHA money earner of considerable money back in the early 80's
• His performance career was put behind him for several years until he was purchased by Butch Gilliam of Overbrook, Kansas
• World FQHR Open Championship in 1999 when Slush Fund was nearly 20 years old
