With heavy hearts, we share the passing of the great stallion, Classic Stone. More than just a sire, he was a partner, a teacher, and a member of the family to all who were fortunate enough to know him. His heart, his spirit, and the way he carried himself will forever be remembered.
Classic Stone’s legacy stretched beyond his own presence in the show pen. He was the kind of stallion who left a lasting impact on everyone who crossed his path—whether in the barn, in the arena, or through his remarkable progeny. Known for his incredible conformation and kind demeanor, Classic Stone brought together the very best of breeding and disposition, producing foals who carried on his exceptional qualities.
Owned and cherished by Christy Parker & Melissa Stephenson, and cared for by the dedicated team at Langdon Farms, Classic Stone was surrounded by people who believed deeply in him. As Christy Langdon Parker shared on behalf of the farm, “Today we said goodbye to a horse who was more than just a partner—he was family. His heart, his spirit, and the way he carried himself will forever be remembered.”
His passing leaves an undeniable void, but his memory will live on through the lives he touched and the legacy he built.
