We’re heartbroken to share the passing of Fantasimo, an extraordinary young bay leopard Appaloosa stallion who left this world far too soon.
Owned, deeply loved, and proudly shown by Gretchen Trentman Jackson, Fantasimo was the kind of up-and-coming colt who made people stop at the gate — not just for his striking colour, but for the promise he carried and the presence he had.
In his short time, he had already begun building a record that hinted at something truly special, earning the title of 2023 Reserve World Champion — Non-Pro Most Colorful (All Ages). His pedigree matched that momentum: Flashn My Assets × Cool Ky Vision (Cool Tall Reality) — a foundation that spoke to both quality and future potential.
But beyond the wins and the “what could have been,” Fantasimo will be remembered most for what mattered in the barn: the connection, the routines, the quiet moments, and the pride he brought to the person who believed in him.
To Gretchen, and to everyone who cheered for this young stallion’s rise — we extend our deepest condolences. Rest easy, Fantasimo. You were here for only a little while, but you were unforgettable.
