In Loving Memory of Hubba Hubba Huntin (Hubba)
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of the incredible stallion, Hubba Hubba Huntin — affectionately known as Hubba by those who knew him best. Hubba was more than just a champion in the ring; he was a beloved family member to his owners, Kiran Pinisetti and Jessica Thrasher-Pinisetti, and to everyone whose lives he touched.
Hubba’s legacy is built not only on his impressive accomplishments but also on the love and care he received throughout his life. With $90,177 in LTE and 605 AQHA points, Hubba’s achievements are a testament to his talent and the exceptional bond he shared with his connections.
Among his many accolades, Hubba was a NSBA World Champion Junior Western Riding Horse, NSBA Breeders Championship Futurity Silver 3-Year-Old Non-Pro Western Pleasure Champion, and Gold Reserve Champion. He also earned the title of AQHA Reserve World Champion Amateur Performance Halter Stallion and claimed 3rd place at the Congress Open and Amateur Performance Halter Stallions. Hubba’s list of achievements continued to grow as he earned 4-time AQHA High Point Champion and was named the AQHA Reserve All-Around High Point Junior Horse.
His impact didn’t end with his competitive success. In 2019, Hubba was honored as an NSBA Top 20 Leading Sire, siring earners of 4,738 AQHA points. His offspring have carried on his legacy, achieving greatness in their own right, just as he did.
Sired by the legendary Huntin For Chocolate and out of Hubba Hubba Hotrod (a Hotrodders Jet Set mare), Hubba was a horse of exceptional pedigree, with the natural ability to shine both in and out of the ring. His $90,177 in winnings and NSBA earnings of $49,396 reflect his undeniable build and talent, making him a true standout in the world of AQHA.
As we say goodbye to this beloved stallion, we take comfort in knowing that his spirit will live on through his achievements, his legacy as a sire, and the many hearts he touched along the way.
Hubba, you will always hold a special place in our collective hearts. Thank you for being the shining star you were.
Rest in peace, sweet Hubba. You will be missed but never forgotten.
