Investin A Goodbar

In Loving Memory of Investin A Goodbar

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Investin A Goodbar, affectionately known as Hank, a beloved gelding and long-time teammate to his devoted owner, Scott Allen Reinartz. Hank’s loss is deeply felt by all those who knew, loved, and appreciated his incredible spirit, talent, and bond with Scott.

Hank, a 2009 sorrel gelding by Ima Zippo Good Bar and out of Foxy Asset, was bred by AQHA Professional Horseman Jim Dudley of Columbia, Missouri. Together, Hank and Scott were a force in the world of All-Around competitions, excelling in disciplines such as Trail, Showmanship, Performance Halter, Horsemanship, Pleasure Driving, and, on a good day, Western Riding.

Over the years, Hank and Scott earned 44.5 AQHA points and achieved numerous accolades, including the World Champion title in Select Amateur Trail, Reserve World Champion in Select Amateur Showmanship, and a third-place finish in Select Amateur Pleasure Driving. Their success continued with multiple Congress victories, such as the 2019 All-Around Select Amateur Champion, the 2019 Congress Champion Select Trail, and the 2019 Congress Champion Select Showmanship. Hank also earned the prestigious title of 2021 AQHA World Champion in Select Amateur Showmanship and was named the 2020 AQHA All-Around Select Amateur.

Hank’s accomplishments, however, were not just measured in titles and points but in the bond he shared with Scott. Their partnership was a testament to the incredible connection between horse and rider, a connection that was built on trust, respect, and mutual dedication.

Hank’s legacy will live on in the hearts of those who were privileged to witness his many accomplishments and who felt the love and joy he brought to the show pen. He will forever be remembered as a true champion, both in the arena and in the hearts of his connections.

Our thoughts are with Scott and everyone who shared in Hank’s journey. Rest in peace, Hank – you will never be forgotten.
