It is with deep sorrow that we share the passing of the beloved mare, Nuthermounsenthehouse, affectionately known as "Minnie Mouse." As a cherished member of Voge Quarter Horses, Minnie Mouse left an indelible mark on the equine world and the hearts of all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Minnie Mouse was a remarkable embodiment of her illustrious pedigree. Sired by the legendary Certain Potential and out of the exceptional mare, The Mouse Is Talkin, Minnie was destined for greatness. Her dam, The Mouse Is Talkin, herself a reserve Congress champion and NSBA High Point 3-Year-Old Non-Pro Western Pleasure Champion, earned 454 AQHA points and over $55k+. Minnie's achievements in the show ring reflected the excellence of her lineage, earning $5,538 in her career. She proudly claimed titles such as the NSBA Breeders Championship Futurity 2-Year-Old Silver Non-Pro Western Pleasure Co-Reserve Champion and a 4th place finish in the Congress Open Yearling Longe Line.
However, Minnie's legacy extends far beyond her own accolades. As a broodmare, she has left a lasting impact on the industry through her World & Congress Champion offspring. Her progeny, including the notable One Hot Mouse, who earned 18 AQHA points and $6,367, securing a Top 10 spot at the Congress 2-Year-Old Masters Open Western Pleasure and an AQHA Performance ROM, carry forward her exceptional qualities and spirit. Minnie's influence on future generations ensures that her legacy will continue to shine brightly.
At Voge Quarter Horses, Minnie was more than just a champion; she was a treasured member of the family, the cornerstone of their breeding operation. The void left by her passing is profound, a giant, bay dun mare-sized hole in our hearts and the collective hearts of the community.
As we say goodbye to Minnie, we celebrate her life and the incredible legacy she leaves behind. Her spirit will live on through her exceptional offspring and the cherished memories of her time with us.
Rest in peace, sweet Minnie. Your legacy will continue to inspire and your memory will forever be held close. 🕊️
