With heavy hearts, we share the news of the untimely passing this past Sunday of the remarkable stallion, Pass The Legacy On, known affectionately as "Sinatra." Owned and deeply cherished by Karena Cymbaluk, Sinatra was a shining star and the patriarch of her breeding program.
On a serene Sunday morning, Sinatra crossed the rainbow bridge due to an unexpected aneurysm. It happened swiftly, on a day that seemed tailor-made for a horse – warm, tranquil, with the gentle melodies of spring serenading the air. In an instant, he was gone, leaving behind a void that words cannot fill. As they say, only the good die young, and Sinatra was truly one of the finest.
Sinatra's legacy transcends mere accomplishments; he was the cornerstone of Karena's program, elevating it beyond imagination. In his eleven remarkable breeding seasons, he sired approximately 85 foals, each one a testament to his exceptional lineage and remarkable qualities. His offspring have graced the winner's circle of World Championships, National Honor Roll Championships, National Championships, and Congress Championships. From halter to performance, ranch work to recreational riding, Sinatra's progeny excelled in every arena they entered. Yet, beyond his prowess as a sire, Sinatra was a beloved friend, a cherished family member, and an invaluable business partner.
He will forever be remembered for his gentle demeanor, kind soul, and unwavering presence brought solace to all who knew him.
With three new palomino foals already welcomed in 2024 and four more eagerly anticipated this spring, his influence continues to shape the future. We await the arrival of six mares bred in hopes of carrying on his esteemed lineage in 2025. Though he may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in every hoofbeat of his descendants.
Rest in peace, dear Sinatra. 🕊️💛
