RR Magical Moonlite (2012–2026)

The Western Pleasure community is mourning the loss of RR Magical Moonlite, affectionately known as “Mouse,” a remarkable gelding whose talent, personality, and unmistakable presence left an enduring mark on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Foaled in 2012, Mouse was bred by Gumz / Rodrock Partnership and carried a pedigree built for greatness. Sired by the legendary Only In The Moonlite and out of The Mouse Is Talkin by Sweet Talkin Chip, he represented generations of proven Western Pleasure excellence.

From the very beginning of his show career, Mouse proved he belonged among the industry’s elite. His breakout season in 2016 saw him capture the AQHA World Championship in Junior Western Pleasure with Ashley Lakins after an unforgettable Congress where he earned multiple championship titles. Those who rode him often described him as a horse with tremendous expression, undeniable presence, and a personality that demanded your attention the moment he stepped into the arena.

His success continued for years to come. Under the guidance of Blake Britton Show Horses and with owner Kylee Wiseman, Mouse remained a consistent force on the national stage, earning top placings at both the AQHA World Championship Show and the All American Quarter Horse Congress, where he continued to showcase the style, cadence, and quality that made him such a standout competitor.

Yet those closest to Mouse will remember him for far more than ribbons and trophies.

The team at Blake Britton Show Horses shared the heartbreak of saying goodbye to a horse they loved as if he were their own. Though they may not have owned him, they were privileged to care for him every day, creating a bond that reached far beyond the show pen. They spoke of the joy he brought to so many people and of the countless memories that will now be treasured forever. They also extended their deepest condolences to Kylee Wiseman and the Martin family, whose lives were forever intertwined with this extraordinary gelding.

There are horses who fill a stall, and then there are horses who fill a barn.

Mouse was the kind of horse whose familiar nicker, quiet presence, and unmistakable personality became part of everyday life. He brought people together, created unforgettable victories, and reminded everyone around him why they fell in love with horses in the first place.

From all of us at StallionCompare, we extend our heartfelt condolences to Kylee Wiseman, the Martin family, Blake Britton Show Horses, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing, showing, and loving RR Magical Moonlite.

Rest easy, Mouse. Championships may define a career, but kindness defines a legacy. Yours will live on in every memory made, every friendship forged, and in the hearts of those who will never forget the truly magical horse you were.
