With heavy hearts, we share our condolences to all of those connected with this young horse, as well as our dear friends at Ironwood Equestrian Center, Jamie and Sunny, on the loss of their gorgeous stud colt prospect, RS Ironclad Alibi, lovingly known as “Moose.”
Born and raised by Running Springs Quarter Horse & Cattle Co. in Nolensville, Tennessee, Moose was only here for a short time, but he carried the kind of presence and promise that made people dream about what could be. Sired by the great $2 Million Dollar Sire VS Code Red and out of Only Blue Couture, he represented a beautiful blend of modern performance bloodlines, quality, and future potential.
For Ironwood, Moose was more than a promising young colt. He was a hope for the future, a special addition to the farm, and the kind of young horse you find yourself watching grow with excitement. In just a few months, he had already become deeply loved, and his absence will be felt in all the quiet places where his future was just beginning to unfold.
There is a particular heartbreak in losing one so young. With a foal, we mourn not only the life they lived, but the years they never got to have: the first milestones, the first show pen moments, the maturity still to come, and the legacy they might have built.
To Jamie, Sunny, Ironwood Equestrian Center, and everyone at Running Springs Quarter Horse & Cattle Co. who knew Moose from the beginning, we are so deeply sorry.
Rest easy, sweet Moose. You were here for far too short a time, but you were loved every step of the way. 🤍
