With heavy hearts, we honour the life of Sheza Sudden Breeze – a once-in-a-lifetime mare, and a true crown jewel to Chandler M. Marks.
This great mare was special in a way that’s hard to explain unless you’ve had one like her. She was the only RL Best Of Sudden × Zippin The Breeze cross, a mare whose pedigree was as rare as her presence – and whose place in Chandler’s heart, and in his barn, can’t be replaced.
Her passing was sudden and devastating. But even in the middle of that heartbreak, she left behind something incredibly precious: her three-week-old orphan foal, Frosty. Right now, he represents everything she was – hope, promise, and a legacy that didn’t end… it simply changed form. He’s receiving around-the-clock care in these first critical days, surrounded by the kind of love that she herself inspired.
Some mares are more than broodmares. They’re the ones you build your dreams around. The ones you check first. The ones you remember forever.
To Chandler, and everyone who loved Sheza Sudden Breeze – we are deeply sorry. Rest easy, sweet girl. Your legacy lives on in Frosty, and in every heart you touched.
