🕊 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Whiz Be Quick, a beloved mare known for her gentle spirit and enduring legacy at Scott McCutcheon Reining Horses. Born from impeccable lineage, Whiz Be Quick leaves behind a legacy that will be cherished by all who knew her.
Whiz Be Quick, lovingly known as "Quincy," was the cherished offspring of Marthas Mega Jac and Whiz Be Nimble. Her dam, Whiz Be Nimble, was a daughter of the legendary Topsail Whiz, whose influence on the reining world is profound. Quincy's presence was a blessing to all at the Scott McCutcheon Reining Horses ranch. She was more than just a mare; she was a companion, a friend, and a source of endless joy. Lindsey McCutcheon shared the sorrow of her passing, noting the extensive efforts made to save her. She leaves behind a promising 2024 colt. We know that her loss is deeply felt by the McCutcheon family and those that knew her.
Rest in peace, dear Quincy. Your memory will live on in our hearts and in the promising futures of your beloved foals.
