It is with profound sadness that we announce the untimely passing of the legendary running stallion, Winners Version. He passed away last night due to complications from colic surgery, leaving a void not only at Highpoint but throughout the entire Quarter Horse industry.
Winners Version was an extraordinary athlete and a remarkable sire, with his progeny earning in excess of $7 million across racing, barrel racing, and team roping. His influence has been far-reaching, and his incredible lineage will continue to live on through his sons and daughters who have carried his legacy into arenas and tracks.
Though he is gone, Winners Version’s impact on the industry is indelible. In tribute to his greatness, Highpoint will offer frozen semen for a limited book, allowing his bloodline to continue shaping the future of the sport.
Our hearts are heavy, and our thoughts are with all who were touched by this magnificent stallion. Rest in peace, Winners Version.
